Gorgonzola stuffed chicken wrapped in bacon

Feast your eyes on the deliciousness! I had the idea to get some Gorgonzola and use the rest of the chicken that I had gotten for the chicken cordon blu casserole (recipe coming soon). I quickly Googled and found this recipe. I adapted it a little, and off I went!

4 boneless, skinless chicken breasts

12 slices of bacon

1/4 cup crumbled Gorgonzola cheese

Garlic powder, to taste

Dried parsley, to taste

Salt and pepper, to taste

Preheat oven to 375 degrees F. Spray an 8×8-inch baking dish with cooking spray.

Place the chicken breasts into the prepared baking dish. Sprinkle any remaining cheese on top. Bake for 40-50 minutes. Until bacon is crispy and chicken is cooked all the way through.Mash together the Gorgonzola cheese, and spices  in a small bowl. Set aside. Slice the side of each chicken breast, then stuff with the cheese and spices. Season the breasts with salt and pepper, to taste. Wrap each breast in bacon slices, securing with toothpicks, if needed.
